Making progress together

Consensus edition.

We’ll be talking all things bitcoin consensus in Toronto the summer of 2026.

· The Great Hall
· Toronto, Canada
· July 22 - 24, 2026
· DOORS 9:00 AM
· 2 STAGES / ROOMS

Consensus is the hardest problem in bitcoin — the one thing every node must agree on, and the thing that’s hardest to change. So we’re giving it a whole edition. Three days of seminars and hands-on workshops — soft-fork mechanics, activation paths, covenant proposals, and the social layer of upgrading bitcoin — held at The Great Hall, a 300-person room in the heart of Toronto. We'll also have a hackathon with prizes. What's the point of coming to consensus if you can't compete for the gold at the end of the day? Come argue about what bitcoin should become, then leave with rough consensus and running code.
