This is the hackathon site for the bitcoin++ consensus edition hackathon in Toronto, Canada.
The main hackathon competition will be open ended (overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd). Anything involving bitcoin is fair game. Bonus points for consensus related projects.
There are optional challenges that hackers may create projects around. Submitting for a challenge is optional, and ALL projects will be considered for the main competition.
Welcome to your first hackathon! This award is for the submission whose entire team is brand new to open source or bitcoin development. Only eligible to teams where EVERY member is a high-school/undergraduate student OR a first-time contributor to open-source bitcoin.

Wavelength is a toolkit that makes it easy to add self-custodial bitcoin payments to any application without running a Lightning node, managing channels, or sourcing liquidity. Built for both humans and AI agents, it supports sending and receiving bitcoin through a simple, flexible API. This prize will be awarded to the team with the best use of Wavelength.
The winning team will have the opportunity to showcase their project on a Lightning Labs community call, AND be joined by a Lightning Labs engineer for a one-hour vibe-coding and pair-programming session.
