The write-up
On-chain privacy is hard, especially combining UTXOs can be dangerous even when using CoinJoins. Receiving over time and consolidating often still links UTXOs or is very expensive. Fedimix allows receiving funds into a Fedimint wallet over time via both lightning and on-chain and withdraws common denomination UTXOs once a threshold amount is reached AND the anonymity set os large enough.

The Fedimint wallet can be used for daily spending, giving great privacy while large amounts can be kept on-chain for max self sovereignty.
